Tansal is the founder and co-owner of CSS, a leading partner in designing and delivering security and intelligent building infrastructure in the region. With a track record of serving the Caribbean market for over a decade, CSS has served clients in over 10 islands across a range of industries.
CSS was founded in 2001 and has experienced consistent growth due to its affiliation with only industry trusted manufacturers. CSS’s strategic partnership with Tyco Fire and Security, which began at the company’s inception, has contributed to the company’s reputation as the leading security solutions provider in the region. CSS is the sole distributor for Tyco in the Eastern Caribbean. In 2005, the company increased its portfolio by offering ANSI-rated door opening solutions through its partnership with ASSA ABLOY for whom they are the sole distributor in the Caribbean.
Tansal’s entry into the security industry commenced in his father’s business, Tansa Security, Turkey, which was established in 1962 and manufactures security turnstiles and entrance systems. Tansal joined the company in 1994 where he gained his sound foundation of the security industry. In 1996, he formed a partner company which offered security systems integration. This company was awarded various large security projects including NATO-funded military security contracts. In 2011, Tansal established Tansa Security North America which provides security turnstiles across the Americas. Some clients include Mercedes Benz factory in Mexico, Frito Lay in Guatemala, and Central Bank of the Dominican Republic.
Tansal is currently the Honorary Consul General of Turkey in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Vice Chairman of America Region Committee, World Turkish Business Council. Tansal obtained his Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Schiller University in Switzerland and also attended their campuses in England and Florida.
Tansal, a Turkish citizen, now resides in the Caribbean with his Vincentian wife and four children.
