Chancery Lane, Trinidad

In August 2008 we were contracted to supply 220 doors and frames to the Chancery Lane Project in San Fernando Trinidad. Working with the international construction company Johnston International for the ultimate owner of the project, the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, we delivered the project under budget and ahead of schedule.

Construction company Johnston International, working for Trinidad’s Urban Development Commission of Trinidad and Tobago required a supplier to meet the exacting standards of the material specified for the core and shell of the 18 storey multipurpose split level facility. This facility, designed to house 10 storey office complex, roof top atrium for conferences, 2 storey public library, 3 storey retail space with mall shopping and food court, and 3 storey car park needed fire safe doors and door hardware able to meet high traffic requirements for Trinidad’s second most populous area in the southern city of San Fernando

CSS supplied code compliant commercial grade fire safe material for all 225 common area door openings for the core and shell according to the project schedule.

All fire rated engineered core wood doors were supplied by Graham Doors, all 16 gauge fire rated steel frames were supplied by Ceco Door Products . All fire rated stainless steel template hinges were supplied by McKinney, and all mortise locks, exit devices and deadlocks were supplied by Yale.
